Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that helps to restore smooth, soft skin by gradually eliminating hair over time. Laser hair removal is a safe, fast and effective technique for treating excessive and/or unwanted hair growth in both men and women.

Efficiency
The results of laser hair removal appear gradually. They start to become apparent after the 1st session: you will notice a reduction in ingrown hairs and a finer hair texture. Although hair continues to grow for some time after each session, our patients generally notice a significant reduction in hair growth after 2 or 3 sessions.
Laser technology
Lasers generate focused, specific light. This light is then captured by the melanin in the hair and transformed into heat. Over the course of several sessions, this heat acts to eliminate the follicles responsible for hair regrowth, while preserving the surrounding skin.
Consultation
A consultation and laser test are essential before starting a laser hair removal session. It allows your therapist to set up the laser according to your skin and hair type, to give you a quote for the areas you wish to remove, and to explain the precautions to take before and after each session.
Prepare your session

Session duration : 30-75 min
Interval between sessions : 6 weeks
Pre-treatment precautions
- 8 weeks before treatment, avoid all UV exposure (sun, solarium) and protect yourself with a 50+ sunscreen.
- If you have been exposed to the sun since your last laser treatment session, we ask you to come in for a quick laser test. If there is no reaction within 24 hours of this test, the laser hair removal treatment can be safely resumed.
Post-treatment precautions
- Protect treated areas from the sun with a sunscreen 50+.
- Avoid all sources of heat (saunas, hot baths, hammams, Turkish baths, etc.).
- Apply a soothing cream
- Do not do anything aggressive to the treatment area (peeling, scrubbing, horsehair gloves).
- Avoid rubbing (tight clothing, sport...)
- Underarm treatment: avoid deodorants containing alcohol
Contraindications
- Exposure to UV rays (sun, solarium) during the 2 months preceding the operation.
- Treatment for the face and abdomen/bikini area during pregnancy
- Known sensitivity to amide-type local anaesthetics (lidocaine, etc.) If their use proves necessary
- Taking photo-sensitising drugs, self-tanning creams
- On the area to be treated: cold sores, bacterial or viral infections, open wounds, skin infections, etc.
- Family or personal history of melanoma
- Cold urticaria
