Our dermatologist and founder
The history of Forever Institut began with the dermatological expertise of the Dr. Luigi L. Polla and the creation of its practice in 1986. Dermatology and the well-being of your skin have therefore been at the heart of our concerns and our DNA for almost 40 years.
Dermatological procedures are covered by the LAMal (medical consultation, dermatological surgery) at Forever Institut in Geneva.

Dermatology
Dermatology is a medical and surgical speciality. It deals with inflammatory skin diseases (acne, eczema, psoriasis, etc.), sun damage (skin cancer, actinic keratoses, etc.), infectious diseases of the skin and genital region, autoimmune diseases (lupus, alopecia, vitiligo, etc.), childhood dermatoses, as well as abnormalities of the scalp (androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, etc.) and nails.
Skin has always fascinated me, because it has a real impact on our emotional experience. What's more, I'm passionate about the scientific and pharmacological advances that have been made in this field: over the years, and in view of the immense progress seen in the treatment of conditions such as acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and alopecia, I'm still definitely won over by the importance and beauty of my profession. '
