For some people, heat, stress and strong emotions cause perspiration that can be embarrassing. There is a safe and highly effective solution for correcting excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the armpits, hands and feet: botulinum toxin injections. Treatment of hypersudationBotulinum toxin injection reduces the amount of sweat produced by around a third over a period of 4 to 8 months.
Eliminates body odour: By blocking the production of sweat, botox prevents the proliferation of bacteria that cause unpleasant body odour, particularly in the armpits.

For greater comfort, the doctor applies an anaesthetic cream 45 minutes before the treatment. He will then grid the area and perform several superficial injections using very fine needles.

For treatment of the hands and feet, which are more sensitive areas, we also recommend laughing gas (included in the price).

The effects on perspiration start to be felt after 4 to 10 days and last between 6 and 8 months.

Botox injections block the nervous message that triggers sweat production in the sweat glands. This does not induce the transfer of perspiration to other areas of the body.

To minimise the risk of bruising, it is advisable to avoid blood-thinning substances in the days leading up to your appointment. This includes anti-inflammatories, aspirin, and supplements such as turmeric, omega-3 and vitamin C.

Avoid sauna/hammam or intense sport for 24 hours
