A syringe of hyaluronic acid can be used to correct a small area, such as around the mouth. Drooping frown lines, bitterness folds or bar code wrinkles can all be smoothed out with this type of injection.

Botox, on the other hand, smoothes out wrinkles at the top of your face, fades frown lines, opens up your eyes and gives you a softer, more rested look.

The combination of Botox and hyaluronic acid gives a harmonious youthful look to the entire face.

These two treatments have preventive properties on the effects of skin ageing:

Regular injections of Botox slow down the formation of fine lines caused by repeated movements of the face.
Hyaluronic acid injections gradually improve skin quality by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

Recommendations

Depending on your needs in terms of volume restoration, the quantity of a single syringe of: hyaluronic acid. may not be sufficient.

To minimise the risk of bruising, it is advisable to avoid blood-thinning substances in the days leading up to your appointment. This includes anti-inflammatories, aspirin and supplements such as turmeric, omega-3 and vitamin C.

Avoid exposure to the sun and heat for the first few hours
Avoid compressing or massaging the area where Botox® has been injected for 48-72 hours.
Avoid sauna/hammam or intense sport for 24 hours

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Sinusitis and high fever
Dental treatment in progress or scheduled for the two weeks following the injection (if facial injection)
Immunological diseases such as lupus, multiple sclerosis, etc.
Known sensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics
On the area to be treated: cold sore, bacterial or viral infection, open wound, skin infection, etc.
