The energy delivered by Lase® is absorbed by the water in skin tissue cells, creating thousands of micro-channels in the surface layer of the skin. The creation of these tiny ''wells'' accelerates the body's natural healing process, including the production of new collagen and elastin, the molecules essential to our skin's firmness and elasticity.

Personalise your session

Micro-channels have a second advantage: they allow the active ingredients you apply to the skin to penetrate deep into the skin for up to 48 hours. It is therefore possible to personalise your treatment, by applying a care product specifically selected for your needs: vitamin C (for the prevention of skin ageing), tranexamic acid (for spots or melasma), retinol (for active acne or the anti-ageing effect), hyaluronic acid (for hydration), PRP or exosomes (for cellular stimulation).

The products we apply after the Lase® treatment are specially formulated and contain no preservatives, artificial fragrances or colourings.

After discussing which Lase® protocol is best suited to your needs, your laser specialist prepares your skin and gently passes the laser device over the targeted area. This step creates the micro-channels in your skin and may require one or more passes, depending on the protocol.

Immediately afterwards, the specifically selected active ingredients are applied to your skin. You will receive these products for regular application at home for 48 hours. Please note: During this period, nothing else should be applied to the skin (creams, serums, make-up).

To ensure optimum comfort during the procedure, an anaesthetic cream can be applied to the area concerned approximately 30 minutes before the treatment begins.

The face benefits from an immediate radiance boost and the appearance of the skin is visibly improved from the second week. For optimum, long-lasting results, repeat sessions are recommended.

It is important not to apply make-up or other products, except those recommended by the specialist, to the treated area for 48 hours.

No social eviction is expected after LaseMD™ treatment. However, slight post-treatment redness or oedema may persist for 48 hours.

The tiny laser impact points are visible for around ten days, but can easily be concealed with make-up. The treatment can leave the skin feeling dry and slightly grainy, so it's important to moisturise well with products recommended by the therapist performing the treatment.
