Lase® Baby Face, also known as Lase® Ultra™, represents a state-of-the-art method of introducing rejuvenating active substances directly into the dermis. Thanks to the LaseMD treatment, the substances are better absorbed by the skin for 48 hours, allowing optimal absorption of the active ingredients present in the serums applied post-treatment.

This technology uses a superficial sub-ablative thulium laser (1927 nm) that gently opens micro-channels in the skin. These micro-channels allow the active ingredients of cosmeceuticals to penetrate more deeply and be absorbed approximately 10 times more than a topical product by the epidermis, down to the superficial dermis.
The result? A smooth, luminous and visibly younger-looking skin.

Each session is tailored to your specific needs: your specialist chooses the ampoule of active ingredient best suited to your treatment cycle. This tailor-made approach guarantees optimal results for every type of skin problem.

Lase® Ultra™ is suitable for all ages and phototypes, from the fairest to the darkest skins. The session lasts between 20 and 30 minutes. A sensation of cardboard skin may occur and last for a few days post-treatment.

The Lase® Ultra™ programme offers four different ampoules of active ingredient. They contain no preservatives or chemicals :

• Vitamin A (retinol) ampoule: Retinoic acid rejuvenates ageing skin. This anti-ageing substance stimulates collagen formation and accelerates healthy cell renewal. Ideal for active acne.
• TA (tranexamic acid) ampoule: Tranexamic acid helps treat melasma and pigmentation disorders, as well as accelerating wound healing.
• NCTF: a blend of vitamins, minerals and fluid hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin.

At Forever Institut, you can also opt for the addition of PRP or’exosomes for intense cellular stimulation.

Rapidly visible results

The face benefits from an immediate radiance boost after each Baby Face session. The appearance of the skin gradually improves, with a smoother texture and a more even complexion. Small scabs are naturally removed after 5 to 7 days.

Recommended protocol

The number of treatments depends on the condition of the skin. The best results are obtained with repeated applications at two-week intervals. Forever Institut recommends 3 to 5 consecutive treatments for optimal, long-lasting results.

Year-round treatment

Unlike many lasers, Lase® can be produced in all seasons. However, this is not the case, you should not expose yourself to the sun for one month after treatment. It is also important to note that Lase® can affect your tan. Its action on the superficial layers of the skin leads to rapid convalescence, enabling you to resume your daily activities quickly.

• Acne Lase® treats active acne
• Acne scars : LaseMD® treats superficial and hyperpigmented acne scars. For optimal action on acne scars, it is recommended to pair it with Frax™ or Genius™.
• Fine lines and a radiant complexion Lase® acts on cell regeneration in the superficial layers of the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. It helps restore radiance to the complexion and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
• ScalpStimulation of hair regrowth, particularly if combined with the injection of PRP
• Can be carried out all year round: As this laser mainly targets the superficial layers of the skin, it leads to rapid convalescence, allowing the treatment to be carried out in all seasons.

Possible side effects

As with any aesthetic procedure, the Lase® treatment involves certain effects to varying degrees:

• Sensation of heat: may be felt 1 to 2 hours after treatment
• Redness and swelling: the redness usually disappears within 1 to 2 days. In uncommon cases, it may persist for several weeks. Swelling usually disappears in 3 to 5 days.
• Micro-scratches: traces of laser impact visible for 3 to 5 days, can be concealed with make-up after 48 hours.
• Skin sensitivity: transient in the treated area
• Hyperpigmentation: rare, transitory

Precautions before treatment

• Do not apply self-tanner (1 week before)
• No sauna, hammam or body scrub (72 hours before)
• No chemical or mechanical peel (2 weeks before)

Precautions after treatment

• No sun exposure for 1 month - Apply sun protection SPF 50+ three times a day for this month.
• Do not apply any products other than those recommended by the therapist, or make-up, for at least 48 hours.
• Avoid intensive sports for a week or until the wound has healed completely
• Avoid applying products containing alcohol for a week
• Do not apply cosmetic products containing retinol or fruit acids without your doctor's permission.
• Gently wash the treated area and pat dry with a clean cloth.
• Do not scratch the treated area and moisturise it daily

Contraindications

Lase® treatment is not recommended in the following cases:

• Pregnancy
• Breast-feeding (when using serum retinol or exosomes)
• Allergy to topical anaesthetics
• Application of a self-tanner in the previous week
• On the area to be treated: bacterial or viral infections (herpes), open wounds, etc.
• Scleroderma, eczema, rosacea
• Radiotherapy to the treated area or cancerous lesion
• Less than 3 months after a chemical/mechanical peel or ablative/non-ablative laser treatment
• Collagen disease or wound healing disorder
• Neuropathy
• Tattoo or permanent make-up on the area to be treated
• Injured or dehydrated skin.

Micro-channels have a second advantage: they allow the active ingredients you apply to the skin to penetrate deep into the skin for 48 hours. It is therefore possible to personalise your treatment, by applying a care product specifically selected for your needs: tranexamic acid (for spots or melasma), retinol (for active acne or the anti-ageing effect), PRP or exosomes (for cell stimulation).
