PBSerum® HA is the only recombinant enzyme system in the world specifically developed for remodelling facial and body tissues. Manufactured by Proteos Biotech to strict pharmaceutical standards (ISO 22716 and ISO 13485 certification), it combines three recombinant enzymes (collagenase, lyase and lipase) with high-molecular-weight, non-cross-linked native hyaluronic acid.

Unlike traditional fillers, which add volume without acting on the underlying structure, PBSerum® targets the extracellular matrix, the skin's true support architecture. It eliminates damaged collagen fibres, reduces localised adipocytes, improves tissue permeability and circulation, and thus boosts the natural production of functional collagen. This is what is known as bioremodeling: an in-depth restructuring of the tissue.

PBSerum® is particularly indicated for treating slight sagging of the oval of the face (the “jowls”) thanks to its dual action on skin firmness and the reduction of localised fatty deposits. It improves the overall quality of facial skin, making it more supple, radiant and toned.

Collagenase G&H PB220: skin firming

Collagenase selectively eliminates non-functional, altered or disorganised collagen fibres, those damaged by the sun, tobacco or ageing, and stimulates the synthesis of new collagen.

Lipase PB500: reduction of localised fat deposits

Lipase breaks down triglycerides inside adipocytes, reducing their volume without destroying the cells or upsetting the hormonal balance. The fatty acids released are naturally metabolised by the body. This mechanism enables precise, natural remodelling of the areas treated - double chin, abdomen, arms - without surgery.

Lyase PB72K: improves circulation and reduces cellulite

Lyase breaks down the polysaccharides responsible for water retention and improves tissue permeability. It promotes lymphatic drainage, optimises the diffusion of other active ingredients and reduces the orange peel appearance characteristic of cellulite. The skin is smoother and more supple to the touch.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HMW-HA)

Combined with the enzymatic system, non-cross-linked native hyaluronic acid plays an anti-inflammatory role, improves tissue cohesion and hydration, and reduces fibrotic markers. It acts as a biological vector to optimise and prolong the action of the enzymes.

Progressive, natural results

The first effects of remodelling with PBSerum® can be seen after several days, or even 3-4 weeks. The results then gradually improve as the tissue is restructured and new collagen is formed. In some cases, one session is enough; however, it is advisable to complete the entire protocol. Full results can be seen 4 to 6 weeks after the last session.

Recommended number of sessions

The protocol is adapted to each indication and determined during the initial consultation. Forever Institut doctors recommend :

• Facial reshaping (sagging / adiposity): 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart
• Cellulite: 3 sessions, 2 weeks apart
• Fibrosis and scars: 3 sessions spaced 3 weeks apart
• Localised fat: 2 to 3 sessions, 2 weeks apart

Long-term benefits

In addition to visible results, PBSerum® improves the structural quality of skin tissue over the long term. Possible side effects

Side effects are generally minor and transient:

• Slight redness or swelling at the injection site (resolving within a few hours)
• Slight bruising may occur
• Slight local sensitivity in the 24 to 48 hours following the session

Contraindications

In certain situations, treatment should be postponed or avoided:

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Active skin infection at the injection site
• General infectious state (bacterial or viral)
• Non-stabilised or active autoimmune disease
• Anticoagulant treatment (temporary cessation necessary on medical advice)
• Known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (hyaluronic acid, enzymes)
• Known allergy to insect bites (possible reactivity with hyaluronidase)

Precautions to be taken

Before treatment : avoid any aggressive products (retinoids, exfoliating acids) a few days before the session.

After treatment : avoid sources of intense heat, strenuous sporting activity for 24 to 48 hours and any cosmetic treatment for 3 to 4 days.
