Exilis® is a device that combines ultrasound and radiofrequency technology.
The Exilis radiofrequency treatment is designed to firm the skin, reduce fine lines, improve skin texture and, in some cases, slightly reshape facial volumes.
The ultrasound emitted by Exilis 'wakes up' sleeping fat cells, freeing them from their fibrotic state and making them more permeable to radiofrequency. The radiofrequency increases the temperature inside the fatty tissue in a controlled, localised way, providing a stimulating effect. The cooling system protects the skin surface and ensures patient comfort during treatment.

During the session
The therapist applies oil to the area to be treated, then passes the handpiece over the device using circular movements to diffuse the radiofrequency waves. These penetrate deep down to heat the skin tissue to an optimum, continuously controlled temperature (40°).
Treatment plan
For the best results, we recommend the Exilis treatment as a course of 6 sessions spaced two weeks apart. Thereafter, it is advisable to maintain the results with a maintenance session approximately every two months.

Pre-treatment precautions
- Avoid all sources of heat (sauna, hot baths...)
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid laser treatments on the treatment area
Post-treatment precautions
- Do not use creams that produce a heat effect on the skin or irritating cosmetics.
- Avoid friction
- Moisturise your skin (e.g. Alchimie Forever's calming body lotion)
Contraindications
- Pregnancy
- Pacemaker or any other metallic implant, neurostimulators
- On the area to be treated: bacterial or viral infections (herpes), open wounds, skin infections, etc.
- Scleroderma, eczema, rosacea
- Radiotherapy to the treated area
- Deep peel or ablative peel less than three months old
- Collagen disease
- Neuropathy
