Sculptra® - Face & Body

Injected deep into the subcutaneous tissue, Sulptra® is progressively degraded by the cells. This in turn induces an increase in collagen production by our own cells. The result is smoother, firmer and generally younger-looking skin.

Results

Results are fully visible around 8 to 12 weeks after treatment, and can be maintained for up to 2 years. Sessions vary from 1 to 3 over a period of 2 to 3 months, depending on the desired results.

The importance of collagen

Collagen is one of our body’s main structural proteins. It accounts for nearly 75% of skin composition. Collagen contributes to skin firmness and the proper functioning of skin physiology.

 As the aging process starts (at the end of our 20s), skin collagen density gradually decreases. Treatments that focus on collagen-restoration and stimulation are thus perfectly adapted to limit the skin’s aging process. 

Efficacy

Results start to be noticable after 1 month, but will be fully visible after 2-3 months

Precautions

7 days before: avoid taking substances that promote bleeding (anticoagulants, aspirin, anti-inflammatories, omega 3 and 6, vitamin C, turmeric, etc.).
Bruises and hematomas are to be expected, so Sculptra treatments should be avoided before any important social event.
Avoid sun exposure on bruises and hematomas: 7 to 14 days
