Today, aesthetic medicine enables us to restore the aesthetics of your vagina and vulva.

About the treatment

The rejuvenation of a woman’s intimate areas can be achieved by the injection of reticulated hyaluronic acid into the mucous membrane or into the skin. This approach is recommended for women who suffer from vaginal and vulval dryness and looseness.

Dr. Sophie Menkes rejuvenates female intimate areas at Forever Institut, using Desiral® from Laboratoires Vivacy.

What symptoms suggest that hyaluronic acid injections in the female genital area are recommended?

  • Dryness
  • Vaginal discomfort
  • Irritations and a chronic burning sensation
  • Repeated urinary infections
  • Loss of volume (atrophy) in the large labia
  • Sagging skin in the large labia
  • Enhancement of the G spot

What results can be achieved?

  • Hydration and biostimulation of the vaginal/vulval area
  • Relief of irritated areas
  • Improvement of the tissue quality of the genital mucous membranes
  • Reinforcement of the protective functions of the large labia
  • Improvement of aesthetics (such as fuller large labia and tighter skin)
  • Correction of painful scarring (such as post-partum and post-operative scarring)
  • Increased libido and sexual pleasure
  • Boosted self-esteem and love life

Hyaluronic acid offers natural, aesthetic results for this delicate part of a woman’s body. The large labia are fuller and plumper, and the mucous membranes are rehydrated.

The final results are achieved in just a few days and last between 12 and 18 months. Depending on what the patient is aiming for, the results can be maintained by small “top-up” doses every 6 to 8 months in order to maintain the added volume provided by the hyaluronic acid.

Good to know

It’s preferable that you do not shave your bikini line for 48 hours before the treatment in order to avoid irritating the skin when the injections are made. In an effort to increase your comfort during the treatment, your doctor can recommend a local anaesthetic.

After the treatment, the patient must abstain from any sexual activity for five days; avoid swimming pools and other humid places (such as a saunas and steam rooms), as well as any sports that put stress on the genital area (such as cycling or horse riding) for ten days.
