A little family history…

« Should we buy a house or start up a business? » My sisters and I were 1, 8, 10 and 13 years old the day our parents asked us this question during one of our family come-together.  It wasn’t hard to tell that they were much more excited about creation than real-estate acquisition. My parents never had the « ownership » bug. They are a species of entrepreneurs, they feed on projects, thrive on developing ideas, spend on investment. And let’s say that after bearing 4 children, their desire to « create together » naturally tended towards the world out-there, beyond our crowded albeit generous kinship nucleus. So with our agreement they opened the first of 3 wonderful businesses : a contemporary art gallery named Analix Forever. Six years after that Forever Laser Institut, a medicalised beauty centre, came to life, followed by Alchimie Forever, our skin care product line.

I have had the privilege to be an actor in all three businesses. I participated in the creation and launching of Alchimie Forever (initially called Forever Choice), waited to graduate in anthropology before managing Analix Forever between 2002 and 2005, and now it’s been 4 years since I started working alongside my father at Forever Laser Institut. After interior-decorating, receptioning and administrating, I will now research, write and edit. My father has so much to say but so little time to put it all down in words! So this Blog is my way to share with you his knowledge and adventures, from Geneva to the world he travels to teach and learn about dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Ideas, articles, interviews, poetry…
