PRP for hair loss

plasma therapy to stimulate hair regrowth

3 occasions

2-3 weeks

About the treatment

There are 2 kinds of plasma therapies for the scalp: PRP (stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin). Both use the patient's own blood to harvest molecules that will stimulate hair growth and vitality when injected in the scalp. PRP is part of what we call regenerative aesthetic medicine.

The procedure begins with a blood sample which is immediately placed into a centrifuge to extract the platelets, fibrinogen and growth factors. Using a fine needle, your doctor then injects the enriched plasma into the areas of the scalp being treated.

PRP is a 100% natural treatment since it uses the patient's own biological elements to regenerate the scalp and hair follicles. Indeed, the patient is his/her own donor. No side effects, no reaction to a product.
The enriched plasma that is injected will speed up cellular processes, increase blood flow and regenerate the tissues that will help increase the density of the hair.
