Q-Switch lasers obtain very short but very strong-intensity laser pulses (billionth of a second). This technique aims to create mechanical rather than thermal phenomena when the light beam is absorbed. Q-Switch lasers can selectively destroy lentigos and tattoos. Indeed, the light diffused by the Q-Switch laser selectively breaks down melanin granules and ink particles (in the case of tattoos) imprisoned in the skin. There are 3 different Q-Switch lasers:

• Q-Switch Rubis
• Q-Switch Alexandrite
• Q-Switch Nd Yag

The Forever Laser Institut is equipped with these 3 lasers, enabling us to eliminate most tattoos, regardless of their colour.
