Lentigos are brown marks that develop with age. Lentigos notably develop on the back of the hands, on the face, the neckline and men's bald heads. Genetic predisposition plays a role but perhaps not as much as exposure the sun for a number of years. Lentigos can be treated by cooling (applying liquid nitrogen), fruit acid or TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peels, or even dye lasers whose beam has been adapted to target and eliminate the mark.
