Contrary to lasers, flash-lamps give off large spectrum rays (visible + infrared), non-coherent and has low divergence of the beam along its trajectory. Flash-lamps mainly treat the skin's superficial imperfections and act on:
- Photoageing due to the sun: important and visible reduction of unwanted pigmentation on the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. For a uniform complexion.
- Benign vascular lesions: elimination of dilated vascular capillaries (rosacea).
