Exfoliation
Elimination of the most superficial stratum corneum by mechanical or manual abrasion. Exfoliation procures a clean feeling. The skin is smoother and therefore easier to make up, making for a radiant complexion. Exfoliation however cannot eliminate solar lentigo or smooth out fine lines.
