Café au lait spots

Capillary

Small blood vessels that connect arterioles to venules. It is where the exchange of oxygen and regulatory substances between the blood and neighbouring tissues takes place. Certain capillaries can become dilated (rosacea on the face, telangiectasia and tiny veins on the legs).
